Springfield Youth Performance Group was founded in the Summer of 2005 as a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children. Our mission is to work with the talented youth in our community by giving them the opportunity to perform and raise community awareness for the arts. The group performs various community events to broaden the spectrum of the arts. Each performance will audition participants and each member must be willing to commit to the rehearsal schedule. Students must be enrolled in a dance class (at any studio) to participate in the performance group. We believe that every child has a gift, and it is our job to define it. The experience of performing in a major production is a major feat and one every child should be given the chance to endure. Springfield Youth Performance Group will be a stepping stone for their future in dance, paving the way for their excellence.
