Our state of the art facility is located on the west side of Springfield, near Centennial Park. Just minutes from Chatham, our studio is easily accessible from interstate I-72 making the trip easy from Jacksonville, Rochester, Riverton, Petersburg, Pleasant Plains and other neighboring communities. We offer a very diverse selection of dance and movement classes for the whole family. Styles included are:
Our beautiful building houses four large, air conditioned studios with state of the art, injury prevention dance floors. Our staff is well trained in teaching the students how to dance and keep the body injury free. We take pride in our dancers and do everything we can to teach them proper alignment. For dancers having trouble, we offer consultations to help them to stretch and strengthen their bodies the correct way. Every year we hold a dance recital as we feel that it is important that the children develop an appreciation for the arts and learn about the stage. We feel it is NOT important to spend a lot of money each year on a showy production that only teaches the children routines. We keep our recital simple and elegant. Most of our recitals run approximately an hour and a half, unlike other 3 and 4 hour recitals. Giving the children a good stage experience will instill a love of the arts, and children who love the arts will grow to support the arts. We hope that you choose our dance studio for your family.
